Not exactly forever, but Best Nursery has been in business since 1958, said its current owners.
Jim Best said he took over the business from his dad 37 years ago and "it's just time to quit." Jim said he and his wife, Patricia, are looking forward to retirement and plan to continue to live on the property.
"In the summertime, you can't leave," he explained the grind of the nursery business.
The nursery at 125 State Road has a going-out-of-business sale, and Jim said the stock is dwindling but must all be gone so he can shut the doors for good on Oct. 26.
