Gary Rolls, 47, faces at most a year in jail as part of a deal with prosecutors. He pleaded guilty Tuesday to illegal use of a computer, tampering with evidence and fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct.

Rolls had been scheduled to stand trial next month on four counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, charges that carry a maximum penalty of life in prison.

Rolls was accused of having sex with a girl with whom he began a relationship when she was 9. The woman is now in her 20s.

Defense lawyer Jeffrey O'Hara said the woman lied about numerous details.

Rolls, who resigned his county commission seat, is scheduled to be sentenced June 19.

Are you f-ing kidding me? He faces up to a year. A full year wouldn't be enough for this piece of garbage. Molesting a 9 year old? Who does he know. Oh so being a city commisioner makes him untouchable? I hope he doesn't or never will have children cause if he has a girl he will molest her. These pedophiles do not care. They are very very sick indiviuals.

Night night chunky boy. You deserved a lot more. But, your poppa or a friend of poppa got your ass off. Don't forget to look at the judge as much as the offender. Snakes... and most often they are not seen, but still there..

By the way GH Tribune... What about the guy walking down US31 between Gage Chevrolet and the Fortune Cookie this past Monday with a big sign that stated "Film The Police"? Shoot, by the police cars parked just 100' away, one would think the person had just committed a robbery. Sheriff, city and state, all side by side talking... and no, they could not come up with a charge... LMAO. "Freedom of Speech and Power to the People." Yes... film the police, just in case their camera happens to go down at that "particular moment".
