Michelle Renee Greene, 1609 Waverly, pleaded guilty to organized retail crime on Tuesday morning in Ottawa County Circuit Court.

For her plea, prosecutors agreed not to charge her with any other thefts in the county.

Greene said she took a Dyson vacuum cleaner from the Grand Haven Township Meijer and sold it to a pawnshop.

Her criminal history in Ottawa County includes convictions for being assaultive, drunk driving, use of marijuana and driving on a suspended license.

She will be sentenced on June 23 and remains lodged in the Ottawa County Jail.

Dyson's are expensive, if she took an old kenmore or dirt devil she'd be out in a month.
Sounds like a habitual offender off the streets for a while at least.

That sucks.

Lot of questions come to mind: How do you sneak an entire Dyson out of a Meijer?...unless she was an employee and used the old dumpster trick. What caused this to be an "Organized " charge instead of simple theft? Would she have gotten off lighter if she had stolen the Dyson for personal use, and if so what does that matter to Meijer unless she was part of a ring that would have stolen much more given the chance?

One should look at her criminal history in Muskegon! This girl is a loser!

Why not hang around the many non profit resale sites at night and take all the junk left behind, more than likely they would junk the stuff!
