A 33-year-old Muskegon man was arrested Thursday afternoon. He was lodged at the Ottawa County Jail on outstanding warrants and a parole violation. Felony larceny charges were expected to be sought this morning, according to the Grand Haven Department of Public Safety.

Earlier Thursday, police released a photo of the suspect obtained from surveillance video from the bike shop where the theft occurred Tuesday. The arrest can be attributed, in part, to information obtained from tips received by Ottawa County Silent Observer and law enforcement officials from neighboring communities.

The bike shop was not named.

Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call police at 616-842-3460 or Silent Observer at 1-877-88-SILENT (745368).
