A car entered Jackson Street from the Home Depot parking lot and crashed into another car traveling east on Jackson. The impact pushed the second car into the side of a westbound Toyota Rav 4.

The male passenger in the second car involved in the crash, a Honda Fit, suffered minor injuries and sought his own treatment after being checked by paramedics.

The driver of the first car, a Pontiac Aztek, said he stopped at the intersection, checked to make sure traffic was clear and pulled out just when the Honda Fit came off southbound U.S. 31 onto Jackson Street.

We'll have more details when they become available.
