Undersheriff Dan Stout said Silent Observer is offering $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the death of Rebekah Sue Bletsch. The reward amount likely will go up in the coming days if the crime isn't solved soon.

Bletsch was discovered June 29 by a passer-by. The 36-year-old Dalton Township woman is believed to have been out for a jog on her regular route prior to being shot. Authorities said she had valuables on her, but nothing was taken.

Bletsch lived about three-quarters of a mile away from where she was found.
