Motorcyclist hit and killed

A 46-year-old Holland man is dead after a car collided with the motorcycle he was driving shortly after 6 a.m. Monday.

Police said the car pulled out of the driveway of a factory on the south side of James Street near Kamar Avenue in Holland Township and into the path of the motorcycle, which was traveling east on James.

The Ottawa County medical examiner pronounced Kenneth Russell dead at the scene.

The driver of the car, 24-year-old Soulyluck Noravong, also of Holland, was taken by ambulance to Holland Hospital with serious injuries, said Capt. Steve Kempker of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department.

The crash remains under investigation by the Sheriff’s Department.
