Travis Lee Ryke, 24, was walking on Arthur Street near 24th Avenue in Wright Township when he was struck and killed by an unknown vehicle. That vehicle has not been located, police said.

“Since that incident, sheriff’s detectives have received several tips, but no solid leads to this point,” Capt. Mark Bennett of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department said Wednesday. “Investigators are urging the public to come forward with additional information, and the family of Travis Ryke has also posted a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for this crime.”

Bennett said tips can be made to Silent Observer by calling 877-88-SILENT or online at mosotips.com.
