Neighbors said it looked like one residence lost power from the incident.

The truck ended up in a yard across the street from The Reef Party Store.

Police were questioning the driver, who was not injured.

A 44-year-old man was arrested and lodged in the Ottawa County Jail.

Officers from the Ottawa County Sheriff's Department and firefighters from Ferrysburg Fire Department blocked the road while waiting for the Board of Light and Power to arrive.

Power company workers arrived at about 9 p.m.

They returned Tuesday morning to install a new pole and hang new lines, as well as the original street light, which was not damaged.
