It really should not be limited to felony offenders. Each offender should also contribute to the cost of the verification with a yearly charge of $100.
I am all supportive with the new initiative but I can only hope that their identity remains private towards the communities. A lot of these people probably learned from their mistakes, nobody wants a stained criminal background check, these people know best what that means. It more difficult for them to find a decent job or even find a place to rent because of their past.
