Police looking for man who approached girls in Coopersville

Police are on the lookout for a man who approached three girls in Coopersville on Saturday morning. The man approached the girls while they walked down East Street, south of Cleveland Street, at 9:30 a.m., said Ottawa County Sheriff's Sgt. Bob Ruster. The girls ran away after the man - who was driving a silver four-door Chevy Silverado - spoke to them, Ruster said. The girls described the suspect as a balding male, age 50-65, who was wearing large-framed glasses, Ruster said.
