Eslick and Richardson both demanded preliminary exams when arraigned by video Wednesday afternoon in Ottawa County 58th District Court.
Judge Richard Kloote, in setting the higher bond for Eslick, said: “You are the more responsible. I understand you are the one who had the gun.”
The judge also noted that Eslick had one prior arrest in Ottawa County for a domestic violence charge in 2006.
