2 drivers dead after head-on crash in Clare County

Police said two people were killed Tuesday afternoon in a head-on crash in Clare County. WNEM-TV reported the crash happened about 5 p.m. in Surrey Township. The Clare County Sheriff's Department said the drivers were 86-year-old Bernard Doerr of Manton and 60-year-old Carl Beebe of Harrison, and they were pronounced dead at the scene.
