Jackson was arrested after police said he shoplifted from the Spring Lake Wesco gas station, then led police on a vehicle and foot chase through Grand Haven on April 27.

Police were alerted when the man allegedly stole a bottle of liquor from the Wesco gas station on Savidge Street in Spring Lake around 12:30 p.m. on April 25.

After an alert was aired on police radio, Grand Haven Department of Public Safety officers spotted the suspect vehicle as he drove south on Beacon Boulevard.

Police followed him as he darted around traffic and then sped down Robbins Road before hitting a tree as he tried to turn into the driveway to Robbins Nest apartments.

The man fled on foot, but was brought down by a GHDPS officer then arrested without further incident.

Donomic is currently lodged at the Ottawa County Jail on a $7,500 cash surety bond for the fleeing, obstructing and marijuana charges and $1,000 bond for the retail fraud charge. His next court apperance will be May 16.
