Gun-toting teacher says he meant no harm

A high school teacher with Plymouth-Canton Community Schools, who authorities said brought a gun to school, said he never intended to harm anyone. The Detroit Free Press and The Detroit News reported that Raymond Schepansky, 52, made the statement on Friday, the day of a court hearing in the case. He was charged last month with carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a weapon on school property and felony firearm. A judge is expected to decide May 31 whether there is enough evidence for Schepansky to stand trial.
