Truck destroyed by fire in Crockery Township

A truck owned by Correct Mechanical Services was destroyed by fire this morning at a residence off 130th Avenue, said Crockery Township Fire Chief Gary Dryer. Firefighters were called to 12825 Hideaway Drive just after 8:30 a.m. and found the truck fully involved in fire. Dryer said the 2003 Dodge pickup truck - which contained tools, torches and welding tanks - was destroyed. There was also some minor damage to the house, which was about 10 feet away from the truck, the fire chief said.
