Police make arrest in Holland truck stop robbery

Police said they arrested a 25-year-old Holland-area man on Sunday night for the armed robbery of a truck stop on Holland's southside that morning. The Holland Department of Public Safety responded to an armed robbery call at the Tulip City Truck Stop, 1796 M-40, at 8:40 a.m. Sunday. A clerk said a man approached her and demanded that she give him money, and the suspect implied that he had a weapon. The suspect fled from the scene on foot, police said.
