Police seek suspect in fatal shooting in Muskegon

Police are investigating the shooting death of a Muskegon man on Sunday. The victim's name was released this morning. Police said Eddie Wilson, 24, was shot in the head while sitting in a vehicle in the parking lot of the Sons of Norway Lodge, 420 Harvey St., shortly after 2 a.m., said Capt. Andrew Olson of the Muskegon Police. A large party was letting out at the time. Wilson was pronounced dead after being taken by ambulance to a Muskegon hospital, Olson said.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Muskegon Police at 231-722-3524 or Silent Observer at 231-722-7463. A $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the case has been offered by Silent Observer.
