Zeeland native missing since June 21

Zeeland native Amber DeVoe has been missing in Boston for more than a week. Since her disappearance, Boston police have opened a missing persons case, while her friends and family are pleading with the public across the country for help. DeVoe's family has created a Facebook page, calling on the public for any information about the disappearance.

DeVoe’s mother, Rhonda Dirette, told WZZM-TV that her daughter moved to the Boston area about four months ago to work as a claims investigator. She said no one in Amber’s circle of friends, family or co-workers has heard anything from the 28-year-old since June 21.

“This is not what she would normally do,” Dirette said. “She is a people person.”

DeVoe is about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs about 175 pounds, and she has green eyes and blonde hair she usually wears as a mohawk. She drives a black Chrysler with Massachusetts license plates.

The family is asking anyone with information to contact the Boston Police Department at 617-343-5630 or post information directly on the “Help Find Amber DeVoe” Facebook page.
