Police seek help identifying suspect

The Ottawa County Sheriff's Department is looking for assistance in identifying the suspect in at least two-dozen thefts from vehicles in the Georgetown Township area. Lt. Mark Bennett of the Sheriff's Department said they are investigating about 25 incidents of larceny from vehicles over the past few weeks. He said most of the cars broken into were in driveways or on the side of roads, and were not secured. Electronics, cash and wallets were taken from the vehicles, totaling several thousands of dollars in lost property.
