Two people were taken by ambulance to the hospital following a one-car accident shortly before 9 this morning on Griffin Street, according to Lt. Joe Boyle of the Grand Haven Department of Public Safety.
An elderly couple was in a car that was southbound in the 900 block of Griffin Street when the driver had a medical incident and the car veered off the road and struck a telephone pole, Boyle said.
The woman suffered minor injuries. Both of the occupants of the car were wearing seat belts, according to Boyle.
Their names and conditions were not available.
