No one was injured early Friday after a party at Theta Chi fraternity, although the 30 residents were not allowed back in.

East Lansing Fire Marshal Bob Pratt told WLNS-TV that the fraternity had sprinklers; otherwise, he said there would have been fatalities.

The series of fires is believed to have been intentionally set.

Theta Chi’s alumni corporation issued a statement, saying it’s sad that an “assault” on the fraternity took place.
