Police on the scene were unable to immediately find a source of the smell, but believe it may have come from a truck offloading natural gas in the area.

The building, 900 Cutler St. in Grand Haven, was cleared per the school's procedures, police said. Students and faculty were allowed to return to their classrooms at 10:45 a.m.

The Tribune will have more information when it becomes available.
