The Muskegon Chronicle reported the girl was taken to a local hospital Friday morning. Fruitport Township Supervisor Brian Werschem said the girl was knocked down and stepped on several times in the store near Muskegon.

No other injuries were reported elsewhere in the state, though authorities say eight Marquette-area businesses received bomb threats by phone Friday afternoon.

WLUC-TV and The Daily News of Iron Mountain reported shoppers were temporarily evacuated from locations in and around the Upper Peninsula city but nothing has been found.
