AnnArbor.com and The Detroit News reported Dr. Howard Weinblatt of Ann Arbor faces a hearing Wednesday on charges of surveilling an unclothed person and window peeping. He was released on bond after being arraigned Nov. 23.
An e-mail seeking comment on the charges was sent Tuesday by The Associated Press to defense lawyer Laurence Margolis.
Weinblatt worked at IHA Child Health in Ann Arbor. The company said today it had accepted his request for a leave of absence.
Police executed a search warrant at his home Nov. 22, but didn’t say what was seized. Weinblatt was arrested that day.
