Authorities responding to a house fire in Muskegon this morning said one person has died and at least two other people were injured.
A woman died in the blaze in the 200 block of Myrtle Avenue.
Officials said at least two people who escaped the home by jumping from a second-story window were taken to a hospital. A 3-year-old in the home was reported to be safe and didn't need to be hospitalized.
Fire crews who arrived at the fire at around 5 a.m. found flames coming through the roof.
The cause is under investigation. Muskegon fire officials said it is being investigated as a possible arson.
