Police ID 2 dead after vehicle hits Cadillac home

Police have identified two men who died after the vehicle in which they were riding crashed into a home in Michigan's northern Lower Peninsula.

The Cadillac News and the Traverse City Record-Eagle reported that the men were identified as 23-year-old Joshua Lester and 24-year-old Gary Helsel.

The crash happened early Tuesday in Cadillac. The vehicle carrying the Cadillac residents collided with a sport utility vehicle at an intersection before hitting the home.

The driver of the SUV was taken to a hospital.

A witness reported the SUV may have run a stop sign before the crash.
