Police rescue man from burning car, arrest him

The man reportedly fell asleep in the parked car with his foot on the accelerator before the fire started this morning. Police said the engine apparently overheated, leading to the blaze.

Police Officer Eric Hornbacher was responding to a report of a disturbance when he pulled the man from the burning car. Lt. Barry Bryant said the quick action saved the driver’s life.
