Official: Man falls while climbing medical building

A fire official said a man was critically injured after falling more than 30 feet while apparently climbing the outside of a medical building in Ann Arbor early today.
AP Wire
Jan 13, 2012 reported the man fell shortly after 1 a.m. at the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center and landed on a glass overhang. The man was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Acting Battalion Chief Amy Brow said the man wasn’t working at the cancer center and it wasn’t immediately known why he was on the building. She said people reported seeing him climbing before he fell.

Brow said the glass overhang didn’t break when the man landed on it.
