The teen arrived at the county jail Friday, hours after authorities publicly said he was wanted for questioning. He has not been charged.
MarShon Peoples was shot in the back of the head Jan. 6 after telling a group of young men they couldn’t come inside the event hosted by Streams of Hope in Gaines Township.
Police have said 25 shots were fired from several weapons. About 150 people were at the event.
The 37-year-old Peoples is recovering at home. He is the recreational program manager for Streams of Hope Ministry.
