The injuries were all minor and nobody was taken to the hospital, he said.

Alvin Copeland, 25, of Muskegon was driving his 1996 Cadillac Seville north on 148th Avenue about 1:30 p.m., when he lost control on the slippery road, crossed the center line and struck a southbound a 1992 Ford Taurus, Austin said.

Copeland was not injured, Austin said, but was ticketed for driving too fast for road conditions.

The three people in the Taurus — the driver, Randee Perry, 20; and passengers Lori Hansen, 40, and Johnnie Perry, 45 — all suffered minor injuries.
