Police say tenant set landlord on fire

The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department said it started with an argument between the landlord and her tenant. During the argument, deputies said the man threw fuel on the woman, then ignited it.

The victim suffered substantial burns, but detectives said the injuries are not life-threatening.

The man left the home, but later returned and turned himself in to deputies.
