2-car crash in Robinson Township

Two people were injured in a two-car head-on crash this morning at the intersection of 120th Avenue and Sleeper Street in Robinson Township.

A red Chevy Blazer was traveling southbound on 120th Avenue just south of Sleeper Street when it crossed the centerline and hit a tan Chevy Blazer that was southbound on 120th Avenue head-on, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff's Department.

The driver of the red Blazer, a male, was pinned in the vehicle and had to be extricated by emergency personnel. He and the driver of the tan Blazer, a female, were transported to North Ottawa Community Hospital by ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.

The crash happened just before 7:15 a.m.
