Snowfall storm totals include 12 inches at Clare in Harrison County as of 8:30 a.m. and 10 inches near Evart in Osceola County as of 8 a.m. A total of 6 inches was reported this morning about 4 miles north of Holland in Ottawa County, in East Grand Rapids in Kent County and Hesperia in Newaygo County.
The banded nature of the snow will result in highly variable visibilities and storm total accumulations. Winds will gust to 25 mph from the northwest toward late morning.
The National Weather Service said another 2-4 inches is expected before the snow diminishes this afternoon.
