At about 11:45 a.m., the Macatawa Bank in the 700 block of Maple Street was robbed. Investigators believe it may be connected a robbery on Sunday at the Family Dollar on 16th Street in Holland.
The suspect is described as a white male, about 30 years old, with a beard, about 6 feet tall, and wearing a gray hoodie sweatshirt. Investigators expect to have a surveillance photo or video soon.
The suspect in both robberies fled on foot and displayed a gun in his waist band. He got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
