The fire was fully involved when authorities were alerted just before 8 a.m. No one appears to had been in the barn, and Spring Lake firefighters had the fire knocked down in about an hour.
The barn is off the road in an overgrown area, next to 16361 144th Ave. and adjacent to property owned by Spring Lake Public Schools.
