Sarah Webster, 77, of Nunica was taken by ambulance to North Ottawa Community Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Austin said.

Webster was driving west on State Road in her 1999 Chrysler, failed to stop at the stop sign and drove into the intersection, Austin said. Webster’s car was hit by a 2003 Pontiac driven by Amy Hornof, 29, of Spring Lake Township.

Hornof was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

Austin said Hornof was driving south on 148th Avenue, stopped for the stop sign, and then preceded into the intersection when the collision occurred.

Spring Lake Township firefighters assisted at the scene.
