The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department received two separate reports of pit bulls attacking animals at residences on Sunday evening.

The animals were later reported to still be at large and were picked up by Ottawa County Animal Control and housed at Harbor Humane Society under quarantine, according to Sgt. Dean DeVries of the sheriff’s department.

The incidents are still under investigation.
