Police were called early Wednesday morning to Holland Hospital, where a 19-year-old Zeeland man was being treated for multiple stab wounds. The man had been a guest at a home in the 400 block of West 31st Street in Holland and was assaulted by two or more people from the home. One of the suspects stabbed the victim several times in the upper torso. Friends of the victim brought him to the hospital.

Police executed a search warrant at the home and arrested Angel Moreno Jr., 22, for assault with intent to do great bodily harm. He was arraigned Thursday afternoon and bond was set at $10,000.

The victim was released from the hospital on Wednesday.

Holland detectives said they are continuing to investigate the incident, and more charges and suspects may be forthcoming.
