Officials released photos of suspects off store surveillance video on April 24 and received multiple tips regarding the identity of the suspects, police said. Police followed up on these tips and confirmed the identities of the suspects.

Fruitport Township Police coordinated their investigation with the Walker Police Department because the fraudulent use of a credit card took place in Walker.

Arrest warrants were obtained, and the female suspect was arrested in Muskegon on Thursday. The male suspect is still at large.

The identities of the two suspects are not being released at this time.

The original incident occurred the night of April 1-2 when someone entered a garage in the 2800 block of East Ellis Road and stole several items from unlocked cars in the garage, police said.

Anyone with further information is asked to call the Fruitport Township Police Department at 231-865-8477, or Silent Observer at 231-72-CRIME.
