Charges are being sought against the four, who all live in and around Grand Haven, said Lt. Renee Freeman of the Grand Haven Department of Public Safety.

A 19-year-old Grand Haven man was walking near the park about 9:10 p.m. May 30 when three males wearing bandanas assaulted him, Freeman said. The man was punched once in the face and ordered to empty his pockets, but his attackers were spooked and fled before anything was taken.

The man suffered minor injuries, Freeman said, but he refused medical treatment.
