Alaska State Troopers said Richard Price of Gowen died at the scene in a head-on collision Monday night. His wife, 58-year-old Diane Price, was flown by air ambulance to Central Peninsula Hospital in Soldotna.

Troopers said their preliminary investigation indicates a car driven by 27-year-old Joshua Millstein of Lake Worth, Fla., crossed the highway centerline and crashed into the Prices' rental car.

Millstein and a passenger, 30-year-old Rosa Gonzales, also of Lake Worth, were transported to Central Peninsula Hospital with what troopers said were minor injuries.
