Motorcyclist dumps bike, traffic rerouted

One person was taken to North Ottawa Community Hospital after he dumped his motorcycle on M-104 under the U.S. 31 bridge Sunday night.

color:black">Sgt. John Wolffis of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department was driving behind the motorcycle at the time. color:black">

color:black">“He dumped right in front of me,” Wolffis said. The sergeant said the motorcycle started sliding back and forth a little before it went down.” color:black">

color:black">Traffic going into Grand Haven from M-104 or Pine Street was rerouted for about a half hour after the 10:36 p.m. crash. color:black">

color:black">No further information was available from Spring Lake/Ferrysburg Police.
