An unknown amount of household goods, decorative items, jewelry and sporting goods have been reported stolen so far, said Sgt. Jon Ditmar of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department. The value of the stolen goods has not yet been determined, Ditmar said, as reports continue to come in.

Police believe more than one person is responsible for the break-ins and thefts, which occurred between 10 p.m. Wednesday and 6 a.m. Thursday, primarily in the northwest quadrant of Ottawa County.

The units targeted were located on Cleveland Street near 124th Avenue in Nunica, and in the area of 168th Avenue and Robbins Road in Grand Haven Township, Ditmar said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff's Department tip line at 616-738-4687, or Silent Observer at 877-88 SILENT (745368).
