The Cass County Sheriff's Office said Dean Young was arraigned Friday and held on a $75,000 bond.
The girl was found uninjured in a home in Union, about 80 miles south of Grand Rapids. She was turned over Friday to her parents.
Michigan authorities were alerted to the girl's whereabouts by the FBI. The girl had run away from her home in Monroe, about 50 miles northwest of New York City.
Young was also charged with using a computer for the solicitation of a minor for immoral purposes.
