Dale Davis, 51, was taken by ambulance to North Ottawa Community Hospital where he was treated for his injuries and released, a hospital spokesperson said this morning.

At about 7:30 this morning, Davis was westbound on M-104 going into the turn into the on ramp for southbound U.S. 31, when he lost control of his motorcycle on wet pavement and put the bike down, said Sgt. Joe Steinhauer of the Spring Lake/Ferrysburg Police Department.

The motorcycle was then hit by the car following, driven by John Gleason, 57, of Spring Lake. Gleason was not injured.
