Teen arrested for stabbing at party

A 17-year-old Holland teen is in custody after police said he stabbed a 21-year-old man at a party.

Holland police were called to an apartment in the 100 block of West 13th Street early Monday morning and found the man with numerous stab wounds to his head and chest. He was taken to Holland Hospital and then taken to Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids in serious condition.

A 20-year-old woman who lived at the apartment also had been hit in the head by the suspect, police said.

The teen was arrested a short time later at a residence on East 15th Street. Charges are pending from the Ottawa County prosecutor.
