Deputy U.S. Marshals said Gregory Bradshaw and Kenneth Grauman were caught at a motel in Canon City on Thursday. The men's girlfriends, Laura Grauman and Brittany Rector, were also taken into custody.

The deputy marshals said they and Michigan authorities developed information the two couples were likely in Colorado. Federal and local authorities tracked down the fugitives and women to the Canon City motel. The men and women were taken into custody without incident.

Grauman and Bradshaw escaped from a parolee re-entry program in Lake County on Sept. 29. They were believed to have hidden in Allegan County's Dorr Township in the days that followed their escape.

Police said the men stole a car last week from an Allegan County resident and drove to Kokomo, Ind., where they and their girlfriends were recorded on a supermarket surveillance video. Investigators said the men stole a truck and weapons in the Kokomo area.

The fugitives and their girlfriends are expected to be extradited to Michigan.
