Kalamazoo County Prosecutor Jeff Fink made the announcement Thursday, saying the woman was acting in self-defense.

A company hired to handle student transportation and the district said the employee was fired after the Oct. 10 incident.

Fink said a review found witnesses reported that the child threatened the employee and put a coat over her head. Fink said the child had a history of behavioral issues on the bus that officials were trying to handle.

The video was taken by a student and posted online.

Police investigated the incident as well as the ex-employee's claim that the boy had threatened her.

I would say the system worked here. Now what about this out of control kid? He is headed towards our overburdened penitentiary system.

they should drug the poor boy to keep his temperament at a level keel. Real heavily. The lady was correct to defend herself, now the company should buck up and admit she was right and rehire her so she could tell them to F off for not defending her right to defend herself. Child services should be contacted and he should be placed in the state system, as it is obvious the parents can't train this delinquent correctly to show respect for anyone.

Strangely enough 43, you and I agree except for the drugging part.

that part was intended to be sarcasm, the rest is truth the way I see it.
