Josiah Curtis got as far as Washtenaw County where his erratic driving on I-94 drew the attention of other motorists who contacted authorities. Curtis, 25, was stopped about 10 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day on eastbound I-94 near Ann Arbor.

Sheriff's Sgt. Geoffrey Fox said Curtis told deputies "he was headed to Detroit to work on some music."

The bus was taken from a lot in Wyoming, southwest of Grand Rapids. Several other buses were damaged.

Curtis is being held on a receiving and concealing stolen property.
